As soon as we get any official news regarding its release, we’ll update it here in this section. So, for now, we can expect ‘Somali and the Forest Spirit’ Season 2 to release sometime in 2022 or later. Moreover, only one or two volumes of the manga are released every year, so even by the end of 2020, the manga will have no more than 8 volumes.Īs of now, no official announcement has been made by Studio Satellite, but considering the lack of source material, it seems very less likely that we’ll get to see more of ‘Somali and the Forest Spirit’ in the near future. Thus, a lack of source material is certainly an issue here. This leaves the creators of the show with just one more volume for a sequel. The original manga from which it has been adapted has a total of 6 volumes so far and the first season of the anime adapts close to 5 of these.
